FYTO MEANS PLANTS

NOT ALL SUPPLEMENTS ARE CREATED EQUAL

The Fyto wholefood vitamins and minerals, unlike synthetic versions known as isolated nutrients, are highly bioavailable* because they also contain a host of phytonutrients that include proteins, enzymes and other nutrients.

*Bioavailable = Readily absorbed and used by the cells in your body

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Absolutely yes. The nutritional value of plants is determined by the quality of the soil and water they are grown in and the purer those elements are the better. However, the most important aspect organic agriculture and therefore organic products have is what is NOT used. Pesticides, biocides and synthetic fertilisers used to grow conventional plants have shown to compromise our immune systems and therefore are detrimental to our wellbeing.

The Fyto capsules are unique in the world and are made from certified organic cassava which itself contains 26% protein and is a good source of vitamin C, thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin.

Vitamin D is divided into two categories; D2 ergocalciferol, which comes from plant sources and D3 cholecalciferol, which comes from animal sources and both play the same role in the body. Fyto Vitamin D is sourced from plants and therefore also contains plant proteins and other vitamins for better bio-availability.

The Fyto packaging has both home (AS5810) and industrial (AS4736) composting certifications.
Note: AS = Australian Standards.

More is not necessarily better. As a former employee toxicologist of ours once stated, too much of anything can actually be bad. Have too much water and you can drown.

Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid is being sold in doses of 500mg or greater and at those quantities have been shown to significantly increase the risk of developing kidney stones in some people. Vitamin C in the form of Ascorbic Acid is partly converted to oxalate and excreted in the urine, potentially increasing the risk of calcium oxalate stone (one form of kidney stones) formation.
It is at times necessary to have more than the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) and at those times you may choose to take more than one capsule in a day. Advice from your health professional is recommended.

As always, everyone’s nutritional requirements are different and expecting and nursing mothers more so. For this reason, it is always important to seek the advice of your preferred health professional.
Having stated that, essentially Fyto vitamins and minerals are plants that contain the Vitamins and Minerals quantities as stated on the packaging and under normal conditions should cause no adverse effects. Additionally, it is important to read the ingredients list to ascertain if you are allergic in any way to any of the ingredients contained.

Fyto products are not TGA registered. This in no way reflects on the potency of Fyto Vitamins. The Recommended Daily Allowance and the amount of each Vitamin and/or Mineral one receives is clearly stated on each package and has been verified by a third party laboratory.

Unlike synthetic forms of zinc that are usually made using toxic solvents by combining glycolic acid, zinc sulphate and zinc acetate, Fyto zinc is from certified organic Guava leaves and naturally has 3 forms of zinc, Ionic, Chelated, and Protein matrix.

Ionic form- Zinc ion likes to bind to other things like water, improving its bioavailability
Chelated form - Zinc is bound to another substance like an amino acid, another mineral or other molecule Protein matrix form - Zinc is bound to multiple amino acids

Fyto Plant-based zinc has the added benefits of other vitamins, trace minerals, enzymes, and other health-promoting compounds that the body recognises and has the digestive enzymes and digestive/absorptive mechanisms already in place to maximise the absorption.
